Produce Here Initiative – Strengthening Manufacturing Investments

The «Produce in Greece» action subsidizes new productive investments of existing manufacturing enterprises with 50% to 55% funding. The eligible project budget ranges from €100,000 to €400,000. The goal is the substantial upgrade of production and the enhancement of the international competitiveness of Greek manufacturing.

The action covers needs for new production equipment, technological upgrades, automation, certifications, R&D or extroversion, and new human resources.

Applications are open from March 31, 2026, until June 2, 2026. The evaluation is comparative (no priority order), based on specific scoring criteria.

The Investment Center [Blackbird Group] undertakes the eligibility check, the complete preparation of the business plan, the submission of the funding application, and full support until the final disbursement of the grant.


▲ Key Features of the «Produce in Greece» Action

  • Total Action Budget: €50,000,000.
  • Support: Public grant 50% - 55%.
  • Eligible Project Budget: from €100,000 to €400,000.

▲ Eligible Businesses (Basic Participation Requirements)

Eligible are existing micro, small, and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises, which must, among other things:

  • Have at least one (1) full closed fiscal year prior to the application (i.e., business started before 2025).
  • Have at least one (1) Annual Work Unit (AWU) of dependent labor in the year 2025.
  • Have the eligible Activity Code (KAD) for the investment prior to the application.
  • Operate legally with the required operating license for the subsidized activity.
  • Meet the conditions of Regulation (EU) 2023/2831 – De Minimis.
  • The subsidized budget must not exceed twice the highest turnover of the last 3 fiscal years (2023, 2024, or 2025), with a minimum amount of €50,000.
  • Own contribution of 25% must be proven (via average bank balances or loan approval).

▲ Eligible Expenses

The eligibility start date for expenses is defined as the Call publication date, 24/3/2026. The main categories are:

* Expenses for Services, Software, and Promotion/Extroversion combined up to 20% of the budget.

The Action titled «Produce in Greece» is implemented with resources from the "Competitiveness" Program of NSRF (ESPA) 2021 – 2027, with a total budget of €50 million. The Attica & South Aegean Region receives €11m, while the Rest of Greece receives €39m.

▲ New Elements of the Program

  • Rapid Implementation Bonus: The grant increases from 50% to 55% if 80% of the project is implemented within 9 months of approval.
  • Productive Efficiency Goal: A specific efficiency increase target is set; if not met, 10% of the grant is returned.
